Cardinal Hockey Broadcasts On PBS
Cardinal Hockey games video taped by PSTV will begin airing on WCFE-TV (PBS), reaching over four million households across New York, Vermont, and Canada.

(Plattsburgh, NY) -- In a new community partnership, Mountain Lake PBS and Plattsburgh State University of New York have joined together to broadcast
for the Mountain Lake viewing area seven of the home games for the Plattsburgh State Cardinal Men's Ice Hockey Team.
The broadcast of the games, which are videotaped by PSTV, the college's student-run television station, will be carried on Mountain Lake PBS starting Saturday, Nov. 1 at 9 p.m.
Alice Recore, president and CEO of Mountain Lake PBS, said, "Mountain Lake PBS is the community's station, which is why we didn't think twice about this partnership opportunity.
"Not only will it give the college and the hockey team more exposure, as our signal carries into Vermont, Quebec and Eastern Ontario, it will also enhance the students' educational experience by having the opportunity to
work with us."
Mountain Lake PBS and Plattsburgh State already work together on the local production "Business Affaires," a cross-border monthly series, which is hosted by Dr. Siamack Shojai, dean of the School of Business and Economics at Plattsburgh State. "Business Affaires," will return for a second season in January 2004.
